Issued 8:00 PM NST 5 March 2015 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing low 952 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight intensifying trough located over southern
Labrador Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Friday departing trough located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located over Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Friday ridge located south of the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:53 PM NST 5 March 2015 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will continue
to track away to the northeast tonight. Strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies will gradually diminish over most waters as the low
moves away.

Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure will drift slowly southeastward
across the South Labrador Sea through the forecast period. Gale force
northwesterlies will develop over northern waters as this feature
approaches.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, East Coast
and the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters.
