Issued 3:00 AM NST 30 January 2015 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Labrador to Belle
Isle Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing ridge located over Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 1006 mb located south of the Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday low 990 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday approaching low 990 mb located southwest
of Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:58 AM NST 30 January 2015 A low pressure system south of the Grand Banks will move northward
then pass over the Eastern Avalon Peninsula this afternoon before
reaching the Belle Isle Bank tonight. Strong to gale force
northeasterlies north of the low will spread northwards through the
eastern marine district today to reach the Belle Isle Bank by
tonight. Strong southerlies will develop east and southeast of the
low today before shifting to strong westerlies in its wake.

A second low pressure system will move northward and approach the
marine district late Saturday. Strong to gale force easterlies are
forecast to develop late Saturday ahead of this feature over
southwestern portions of the marine district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest Coast, South Coast,
East Coast, Northeast Coast - Cape St. John and south, Belle Isle
Bank and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au
Port, Northeast Coast and the Belle Isle Bank.
