Issued 10:00 AM NST 8 December 2016 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:00 a.m. NST today departing low 982 mb located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday approaching low 992 mb located over
Laurentian Fan.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday ridge located east of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:41 AM NST 8 December 2016 A low will approach from the southwest tonight, tracking just
southeast of the Avalon Peninsula early Friday morning. The low will
then intensify as it tracks northeastward across Funk Island Bank on
Friday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies are expected ahead of
the low while strong to gale force southwest to westerlies are
expected in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank and the Grand Banks.
