States.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday trough located on a line north-south
over Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Funk Island Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Friday departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary trough located southeast
of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:54 AM NST 25 December 2014 A trough of low pressure associated with an intense low pressure
system will move across the Maritimes today and across Newfoundland
Friday morning. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will spread
across most of the marine district today and tonight. Strong to gale
force west to southwesterlies will develop over western waters on
Friday in the wake of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Funk Island Bank - southeastern half and the Grand
Banks.
