Issued 10:00 AM NST 26 February 2017 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough located over northern Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Belle Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 986 mb located over
eastern Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday low 964 mb located over Labrador Sea.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today departing ridge located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:51 AM NST 26 February 2017 A trough of low pressure over Northern Nova Scotia will move to lie
over Eastern Newfoundland this afternoon then move north of the
district this evening. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will
develop ahead of the trough then shift to strong to gale force
westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port,
East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Northeast Coast, Funk Island
Bank, and Belle Isle Bank.
