Snow and rain ending this morning. Rain beginning Tuesday evening. Visibility as low as 1 mile in precipitation.

Issued 3:00 AM NDT 2 May 2016 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 996 mb located southeast of
the Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today departing low 990 mb located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over
Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday approaching low 1008 mb located over
southern Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:51 AM NDT 2 May 2016 A low pressure system just southeast of the Grand Banks will move
away from the marine district today. Gale force northerlies near the
low will diminish by this afternoon as the low departs. Marine
interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
northern and Southeastern Grand Banks.
