Issued 4:00 AM NST 21 February 2017 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough located north of Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday trough located over northern Labrador
Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday ridge located over Newfoundland.

By 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday approaching low 996 mb located over
northern Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 AM NST 21 February 2017 A trough of low pressure will approach the Labrador Sea from the
north while a ridge of high pressure over Labrador drifts
southeastward throughout the forecast period. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies can be expected over northwestern waters today
between these features.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
North Labrador Coast and Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
