Issued 4:00 PM NDT 24 April 2017 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today intensifying low 992 mb located over the
northwestern South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 992 mb located over the East Labrador
Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:57 PM NDT 24 April 2017 A low pressure system over the Northwestern South Labrador Sea will
deepen as it tracks slowly northeastward to lie over the East
Labrador Sea by Tuesday afternoon. Strong to gale force southeasterly
winds ahead of the low and gale force westerlies to its south will
shift to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the South Labrador Sea and the Northwest Labrador Sea.
