Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:19 AM NDT 22 October 2016 An intensifying low pressure system near Cape Cod will track
northwards into Quebec tonight and Sunday. An associated trough
extending east from the low is forecast to track across Newfoundland
during the same time period, stalling over the Belle Isle Bank by
Sunday evening. Strong to gale force northeasterlies ahead of these
systems will spread across the marine district tonight and Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South
Atlantic - Newfoundland Area
