Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:44 AM AST 28 December 2014 A low pressure system will track across the Gulf of St. Lawrence late
this afternoon and this evening. Strong westerly winds south of the
system are forecast to reach gale force over the southern marine
district. Winds will shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies
behind the low. Freezing spray is expected to develop over the Gulf
of St. Lawrence on Monday in the cold northwesterly flow.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank..Georges Bank..LaHave Bank..West Scotian Slope..Sable..
East Scotian Slope..Banquereau..Laurentian Fan..And Anticosti.
