Issued 10:00 AM ADT 22 October 2016 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 995 mb located over the Gulf of Maine.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday low 984 mb located north of the
St. Lawrence River.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough from low located on a line
northwest-southeast over the western Marine District.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Sunday merging trough from low located on a line
east-west over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:50 AM ADT 22 October 2016 A low pressure system over the Gulf of Maine will move northward
today to lie north of the St. Lawrence River Sunday morning. A trough
extending southeastward from the low will pass over Georges Bank this
afternoon and continue northward to lie over Anticosti Island by
Sunday morning. Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of the
trough will shift to strong to gale force southwesterlies behind it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
Waters except Cabot Strait..Northumberland Strait..Gulf-Magdalen and

Atlantic - Newfoundland Area
