Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:46 AM ADT 17 August 2017 A low pressure system north of Anticosti Island will move
southeastward across the Northeastern Gulf of St. Lawrence to lie
over Eastern Newfoundland this evening. Strong to gale force westerly
winds will develop over much of the district today as the low passes
by to the east.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Fourchu, and Banquereau-northern half.
