39.5N 68.5W.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday weakening Post-tropical Storm Jose 994
mb located at 39.4N 68.8W.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday ridge located from Maine to the Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:58 AM ADT 22 September 2017 Strong to gale force easterlies will continue to affect southwestern
waters this morning as post tropical storm Jose remains southwest of
Georges Bank. Winds will diminish slightly today as Jose slowly
weakens and drifts away from the district. Marine interests are
advised that gale warnings are in effect for Browns Bank, Georges
Bank, LaHave Bank and West Scotian Slope.

As of 3:00 AM ADT post tropical storm Jose was located near 39.5
north and 68.5 west, or about 125 nautical miles southeast of
Nantucket. Minimum central pressure is 987 MB and maximum sustained
winds are 45 knots. Jose is currently drifting westward at 2 knots.

Long period swells from Jose will continue to affect the Atlantic
coastline of Nova Scotia and the Fundy coastline of New Brunswick.
These should very slowly diminish on Friday.
