the eastern Marine District.
At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located south of the Marine District.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:51 AM AST 20 November 2017 A cold front extending from a low pressure system in Western Labrador
will continue pushing eastward today. Gale force southerlies ahead of
the front will become strong to gale force westerlies behind it.
A low pressure system is forecast to move across the Maritimes
Wednesday night and through the day Thursday. This system will track
northeastward across the marine district keeping the strongest winds
south of Nova Scotia. However, there is a chance that this track may
shift further northward bringing gale to possible storm force winds
to much of the district.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings remain in effect for
all waters except Fundy, Grand Manan, Fourchu, Cabot Strait-southern
half and Northumberland Strait.
