Issued 3:00 AM NST 4 December 2016 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NST today low 986 mb located over the southern
Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today departing low 987 mb located southeast of
the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Monday approaching low located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:50 AM NST 4 December 2016 A low pressure system over the Southern Grand Banks will continue
moving slowly southeastward to lie southeast of the Grand Banks by
this afternoon. Strong to gale force north to northeasterly winds in
the wake of this system will diminish today over southeastern waters.

On Monday an intense low pressure system is forecast to begin its
approach towards the marine district from the east. Gale force
northwest winds are expected to develop over the Belle Isle Bank as
the system draws closer.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, Belle Isle Bank
and the Southwestern Grand Banks.
