Issued 8:00 PM NST 1 March 2015 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located from the Grand Banks to
Labrador.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Monday departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NST Monday approaching low 1006 mb located over
southwestern Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:56 PM NST 1 March 2015 A low pressure system is forecast to develop off the American
seaboard tonight and then track northeastward to reach Southwestern
Newfoundland by Monday evening. Southeasterly gales will develop over
southern waters by late Monday ahead of this system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Northeast Coast and the
Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au
Port, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island Bank.
