Issued 3:30 PM NST 25 February 2017 Tonight and Sunday At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Sunday ridge located east of Belle Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Sunday trough located from Quebec to Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Sunday trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over eastern Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:14 PM NST 25 February 2017 A trough of low pressure over Quebec will move to lie over Eastern
Newfoundland Sunday afternoon then lie out of the district in the
evening. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop ahead of
the trough then shift to strong to gale force westerlies or
southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Southeastern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Northeast Coast and
Belle Isle Bank.
