Issued 3:00 AM NDT 29 April 2016 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today intensifying low 982 mb located northeast
of Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 977 mb located over southwestern
Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today dissipating trough located from Funk Island
Bank to the Avalon Peninsula.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over the Gulf of Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
east-west over the southern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:49 AM NDT 29 April 2016 A trough of low pressure from Funk Island Bank to the Avalon
Peninsula will dissipate this morning. Gale force westerlies over
southeastern coastal waters in the wake of the trough will diminish
to strong this morning as the trough dissipates.

Meanwhile a low pressure system northeast of Belle Isle Bank will
intensify as it moves southwestward towards the marine district
today. Strong to gale force west to southwesterlies will develop over
most waters today as this system approaches.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Strait of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Bank.
