Issued 3:00 AM NDT 24 September 2017 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today departing low 985 mb located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over the Maritimes.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday ridge located over the southern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:53 AM NDT 24 September 2017 Gale force northwesterlies over eastern waters will diminish this
morning as a low pressure system east of district moves further out
to sea.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Funk Island Bank and the
Northern Grand Banks.

At 3:00 AM NDT tropical storm Lee was located near 31.9 north, 50.1
west. Lee is nearly stationary. Maximum sustained winds are currently
45 knots and the central pressure is 1003 millibars.

Lee is intensifying and is forecast to become a hurricane by 3 PM
Tuesday, September 26th. Lee will not affect the marine district of
Atlantic Canada.
