District.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 993 mb located over southern New
Brunswick.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Friday low 986 mb located over northeastern
Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:47 AM NST 18 December 2014 A low pressure system over Southern New Brunswick is forecast to
intensify and track northeastward to lie near Prince Edward Island by
later today, then cross Eastern Newfoundland on Friday morning.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop over southern
waters ahead of this system today. On Friday, strong to gale force
southwesterlies will develop south of the low and strong to gale
force northerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Northeast Gulf, Gulf-Port au Port, the Northern
Grand Banks, and the Southeastern Grand Banks.
