Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:36 PM NST 1 March 2017 A low pressure system approaching from Southern Quebec will move to
lie over the Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence this evening then over the
Funk Island Bank Thursday afternoon. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies or northeasterlies are forecast with this feature.
A second low pressure system will approach the district from the
southwest Thursday afternoon. Gale force southwesterlies or
northeasterlies are expected ahead of this system.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Belle Isle Bank - eastern half.
