Issued 10:00 AM NST 27 February 2017 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. NST today departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday trough located over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:45 AM NST 27 February 2017 A trough of low pressure east of the marine district will continue
out to sea today. Strong to gale force westerlies are forecast in its
wake today.

A second trough of low pressure approaching from the west will cross
Newfoundland tonight. Strong to gale force southwesterly winds ahead
of the trough shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies behind
it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northeast Gulf, Gulf-Port au Port, Southwest Coast, East Coast-north
of Cape St. Francis, Northeast Coast, and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port,
East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle
Bank, Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.
