Issued 3:30 PM NDT 18 October 2017 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today dissipating ridge located over the Grand
Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 1002 mb located north of Anticosti
Island.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday weakening low 1010 mb located over Funk
Island Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday approaching ridge located from Labrador
to Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:19 PM NDT 18 October 2017 A cold front over the Gulf of St. Lawrence will cross the Southern
Grand Banks tonight. Winds will increase to strong southwest ahead of
the front and strong to gale force northwest behind it.

A trough of low pressure will approach Gulf waters late Thursday.
Winds will increase to strong to gale force southwest ahead of the
trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northeast Gulf, Gulf-Port au Port and Southwestern Grand Banks.
