Issued 8:00 PM NST 17 January 2017 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 1004 mb located east of Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday low 994 mb located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight high located over Labrador.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday high located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:02 PM NST 17 January 2017 A low pressure system just east of Newfoundland will move to lie
southeast of the Grand Banks by Wednesday morning. Strong to gale
force south to southwesterlies ahead of the low will shift
To strong to gale force north to northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Southwest Coast - Ramea and
east, South Coast - west of Cape St. Mary's, Northeast Coast, Belle
Isle Bank and the Southern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Southwest Coast, South
Coast, East Coast, Northeast Coast and Belle Isle Bank.
