Issued 3:15 PM NDT 3 September 2015 A low pressure system currently over the Great Northern Peninsula
will move eastward to lie over the Funk Island Bank tonight and east
of the marine district by Friday night. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies will develop in the wake of this low tonight and

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, East Coast - north of Cape St.
Francis, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank - southwestern half and
Funk Island Bank - southwestern half.
