Sea.
At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 1000 mb located south of the Quebec
Lower North Shore.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight dissipating low 1004 mb located over the
Strait of Belle Isle.
At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight approaching ridge located south of the
Maritimes.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:24 PM NDT 25 April 2024 A low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will continue totrack northward to lie over the East Labrador Sea on Friday.
Meanwhile, a second low pressure system south of the Quebec Lower
North Shore will continue tracking through the Gulf waters before
dissipating over the Strait of Belle Isle this evening. Strong to
gale force south to southwesterlies over most waters will diminish to
light to moderate winds as a ridge of high pressure builds over the
region on Friday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle and Gulf waters.
