Issued 10:00 AM ADT 1 April 2015 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today deepening low 997 mb located south of West
Scotian Slope.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Thursday low 983 mb located near the Avalon
Peninsula.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Thursday building ridge located south of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:42 AM ADT 1 April 2015 A deepening low pressure system southwest of the marine district will
cross Laurentian Fan later today to lie near the Avalon Peninsula
tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterlies will develop ahead of
the low then shift to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.
Gale force southerlies are forecast south of this feature.

Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for georges
Bank..West Scotian Slope..Eastern shore - eastern half..Sable -
Eastern half..East Scotian Slope..Fourchu..Banquereau and Laurentian
Fan. Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Cabot Strait and all
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
