Issued 3:30 PM ADT 29 April 2016 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 980 mb located over Labrador Sea.
By 9:00 a.m. ADT Saturday departing low 989 mb located southeast
of Labrador Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today quasi-stationary ridge located over the
southern Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low located southwest of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:21 PM ADT 29 April 2016 A low pressure system over the Labrador Sea will deepen and slowly
move southeastward as a ridge of high pressure settles over the
southern marine district. Strong to gale force westerly winds over
the Northern Gulf of St. Lawrence waters will diminish overnight
tonight as the low moves away from the district.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Anticosti - northeastern half.
