Issued 4:00 AM NST 31 January 2015 Today Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 986 mb located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Sunday low 978 mb located off the Mid Labrador
Coast.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary trough located off the
Mid Labrador Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today dissipating trough located over the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:52 AM NST 31 January 2015 An area of low pressure south of Nova Scotia will track northwards to
lie over the Gulf of St. Lawrence overnight and off the Mid Labrador
Coast by Sunday evening. A trough of low pressure ahead of this low
will develop off the Mid Labrador Coast overnight and remain
quasi-stationary as it deepens through Sunday. As the low approaches,
strong to gale force northwesterlies will develop west of the trough,
while strong to gale force easterlies develop to it's east.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Mid Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all open waters except the East Labrador Sea.
