Issued 4:00 PM NST 27 February 2017 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NST today weakening low 958 mb located north of
Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Tuesday trough located north of the Northwest
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today departing trough located east of the East
Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NST Tuesday ridge located over Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Tuesday ridge located over western Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 PM NST 27 February 2017 A low pressure system will remain quasi-stationary north of the
Labrador Sea and gradually weakens into a trough by Tuesday
afternoon. Strong to gale force westerly winds will gradually
diminish tonight as the low weakens. A ridge will approach the
district on Tuesday. Winds will increase to strong to gale force
northwesterlies over most waters on Tuesday between the trough and
approaching ridge.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south, North
Labrador Coast - north of Saglek, and the Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
