Issued 9:30 PM NST 31 January 2015 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 986 mb located north of
Prince Edward Island.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Sunday low 976 mb located off the Mid Labrador
Coast.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary trough located off the
Mid Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:22 PM NST 31 January 2015 An area of low pressure north of Prince Edward Island will track
northward over the Gulf of St. Lawrence tonight and off the Mid
Labrador Coast by Sunday evening. A trough of low pressure ahead of
this low developing off the Mid Labrador Coast tonight will remain
quasi-stationary through Sunday. As the low approaches, strong to
gale force northwesterlies will develop west of the trough, while
strong to gale force easterlies develop to its east.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Mid Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all open waters except the East Labrador Sea.
