Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:24 AM NST 19 February 2017 An intense low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will move
to lie east of the marine district by this evening. Gale to storm
force winds can be expected for most waters today around this low.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
the North Labrador Coast. Gale warnings are in effect for the Mid
Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea -
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Northwest Labrador Sea and the East Labrador Sea.
