Issued 4:00 PM NST 21 January 2017 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. NST today dissipating trough located on a line
east-west over the South Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 969 mb located over the eastern Grand
Banks.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Sunday low 970 mb located southeast of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 PM NST 21 January 2017 A low pressure system over the Eastern Grand Banks will track
northwards and east of the district on Sunday. Meanwhile, a region of
high pressure will build southeastwards over Labrador. Winds will
increase to gale force northerlies between these two features tonight
and Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water.
