Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:00 PM NDT 23 October 2016 A low pressure system northwest of the Gaspé Peninsula will slowly
move southeastward tonight. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure
extending eastward from the low across the Great Northern Peninsula
will move to lie over the South Labrador Coast tonight. Strong to
gale force northeasterlies north of the trough will shift to strong
northerlies late Monday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast and South
Atlantic - Newfoundland Area
