Issued 9:30 PM NST 7 December 2016 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight weakening low 974 mb located east of
Belle Isle Bank.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Thursday departing low 983 mb located east of
Belle Isle Bank.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight ridge located over western Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Thursday ridge located from Labrador Coast to
the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:21 PM NST 7 December 2016 An intense low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will move very
slowly eastward and weaken over the next couple of days. Strong to
gale force northwesterlies over most waters will gradually diminish
tonight as the low weakens.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
South Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador coast, and the Northwest Labrador Sea.
