A line of thunderstorms moving off the Acadian Peninsula have reported winds of 36 knots. Stronger winds are possible. This line currently stretches from extreme Northwest Gulf-Magdalen down through Northern Northumberland Strait waters. These thunderstorms should weaken early this evening.
A line of thunderstorms giving strong winds is occurring over northwestern Gulf waters.
Mariners are advised to monitor this marine warning for the most current information.

By 9:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday low 997 mb located over Newfoundland.

Evening will move to lie over Newfoundland on Tuesday.
Gale force northwesterlies will develop over northern waters in the
wake of this low.

Banquereau...Cabot Strait...Gulf-Magdalen...Chaleur-Miscou eastern
half and Anticosti.
