northwest-southeast over Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1003 mb located west of Browns Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 998 mb located southeast of Cape
Breton Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:56 PM ADT 28 October 2016 A deepening low pressure system near Browns Bank will pass over the
southwestern shore marine area overnight to eventually lie southeast
of Cape Breton Island Saturday evening. Gale force east to southeast
winds have developed ahead of the low and could possibly approach
storm force over the eastern half of the district tonight and

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East
Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait.
