to Belle Isle Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Funk Island Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today low 997 mb located over southeastern
Laurentian Fan.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing low 987 mb located northeast
of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:49 AM NDT 19 March 2024 A low pressure system over Southeastern Laurentian Fan will track
northeastward across the Grand Banks today. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies will spread across southernmost waters today south of
the low. Winds will diminish overnight as the low departs.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Southeastern Grand Banks.
