Issued 3:00 AM NDT 1 June 2016 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 1004 mb located over northeastern
Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday low 1001 mb located east of the Marine
District.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough from low located on a line north-south
over Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday trough from low located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:10 AM NDT 1 June 2016 A trough of low pressure over Belle Isle Bank will move to lie east
of the marine district by early Thursday morning. Strong
southeasterlies ahead of the trough increase to strong to gale force
northwesterlies behind it. Winds begin to diminish later in the day
Thursday as the trough moves further away from the district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, East Coast, Northeast Coast,
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, the Northern Grand Banks, and the
Southeastern Grand Banks - northeastern half.
