Issued 3:30 PM ADT 18 April 2015 Tonight and Sunday At 9:00 p.m. ADT tonight deepening low 1011 mb located over the
Gulf of Maine.
By 3:00 p.m. ADT Sunday departing low 1000 mb located south of
Laurentian Fan.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located over Quebec.
By 9:00 p.m. ADT Sunday ridge located over the western Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:33 PM ADT 18 April 2015 A low pressure centre is expected to develop over the Gulf of Maine
this evening and deepen as it moves to lie just south of Laurentian
Fan by Sunday afternoon. Northerly gales are expected north of the
low over the slope waters tonight and Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank..West Scotian Slope..East Scotian Slope and Laurentian
Fan.

Outlook for the start up of the eastern shore lobster fishery.

Tonight..Wind northwest 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 25 knots over
Chedabucto bay this evening. Wind veering to northeast 15 knots near
midnight then increasing to northeast 20 knots overnight.

Sunday..Winds northeast 20 knots diminishing to light near noon
Sunday.

Monday..Winds variable 10 to 15 knots.
