By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:40 AM ADT 18 August 2017 A low pressure system northeast of Newfoundland will slowly move away
from the marine district as it interacts with post-tropical storm
Gert. Strong to gale force west to northwesterlies will gradually
diminish later today as a ridge of high pressure builds in from the
west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau-northern half and Cabot Strait.
