Issued 3:30 PM NST 2 March 2015 Tonight and Tuesday At 3:30 p.m. NST today deepening low 994 mb located southeast of
Cape Breton Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday low 950 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today departing ridge located east of the Grand
Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:55 PM NST 2 March 2015 A low pressure system southeast of Cape Breton Island is forecast to
continue deepening as it tracks northeastward to cross Central
Newfoundland tonight, then to lie east of the Belle Isle Bank by
Tuesday afternoon. Southeasterly and northeasterly gales ahead of
this system will shift to gale to hurricane force westerlies to
northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank. Storm warnings
are in effect for the Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half and the
Northeast Coast. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Southeastern Grand Banks.
