Issued 10:00 AM NST 14 February 2016 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 974 mb located over eastern
Belle Isle Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today low 965 mb located northeast of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today intensifying trough located south of
Nova Scotia.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Monday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:51 AM NST 14 February 2016 A deepening low pressure system over Eastern Belle Isle Bank will
continue to track northeastwards to lie northeast of Belle Isle Bank
this afternoon. Gale force southerlies to the south of the low will
diminish this afternoon. Gale to storm force northwesterlies to
westerlies to the west of the low will persist or redevelop across
most waters throughout the forecast period.

An intensifying trough of low pressure south of Nova Scotia will
track northeastwards across the Grand Banks tonight. Gale to storm
force westerlies will develop over the Southern Grand Banks south of
the trough tonight.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and the Southwestern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are
in effect for all remaining waters except the Strait of Belle Isle
and the Northeast Gulf.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Southern Grand Banks.
