Issued 10:00 AM NST 28 February 2015 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over the Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
east-west over the southern Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 996 mb located over eastern Labrador
Sea.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing low 996 mb located east of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:52 AM NST 28 February 2015 A low pressure system approaching from the Labrador Sea will move
east of the district today and continue out to sea tonight. Strong to
gale force westerlies over northern waters behind this system will
diminish overnight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Belle Isle Bank - northeastern half and Funk Island Bank -
northeastern half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Southern Grand Banks.
