Issued 3:30 PM NST 6 December 2016 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 959 mb located northeast
of Belle Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:15 PM NST 6 December 2016 An intense low pressure system northeast of Belle Isle Bank will
remain nearly stationary tonight then move slowly eastward on
Wednesday. Gale to storm force northwesterly winds are forecast to
persist over northern waters through Wednesday. Winds are then
expected to slowly diminish Wednesday night.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect for Strait of Belle Isle
- eastern half and Funk Island Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port
and Northeast Coast.
