Gulf - Port au Port.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Sunday trough from low located on a line east-west
over the Great Northern Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:34 PM NDT 22 October 2016 A low pressure system over New England will deepen as it moves to lie
over Southern Quebec Sunday morning. Meanwhile, an intense trough of
low pressure extending from the low will cross Newfoundland tonight.
By Sunday afternoon, this trough will extend from the low over Quebec
to Belle Isle Bank. Strong to gale force northeasterlies are
expected north of the trough. To its south, gale to storm force
southwesterlies are expected over Southwest Coast this evening with
strong to gale force southerlies elsewhere.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Southwest Coast. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except East Coast - north of Cape St. Francis, Northeast Coast, and
Funk Island Bank.
