Issued 3:30 PM ADT 28 October 2016 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today departing ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today deepening low 1011 mb located north of
Cape Cod.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 1000 mb located southeast of Cape
Breton Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:10 PM ADT 28 October 2016 A deepening low pressure system north of Cape Cod will pass over the
southwestern shore marine area overnight to eventually lie southeast
of Cape Breton Island Saturday evening. Gale force east to southeast
winds have developed ahead of the low and could possibly approach
storm force over the eastern half of the district tonight and

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East
Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait.
