At 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over New England.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday trough located from the Gulf of
St. Lawrence to Browns Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:20 PM ADT 9 October 2015 A low pressure system approaching from New England will push a strong
frontal trough through the marine district tonight and Saturday.
Strong to gale force south-southwesterlies ahead of the trough shift
to strong to gale force northwesterlies behind it. These winds are
forecast to gust to storm force in honguedo strait on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
eastern half of eastern shore, the eastern half of Sable, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Cabot Strait, and all Gulf of St Lawrence waters.
