At 3:30 p.m. ADT today low located southeast of James Bay.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Monday low 1008 mb located near the Gaspe

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM ADT 28 August 2016 Hurricane Gaston, as of 3:00 PM ADT, is located near 30.6 degrees
north and 54.9 degrees west. Maximum sustained winds are 90 knots.
Minimum central pressure is about 970 MB. It is currently moving
northwest at 4 knots.

Note that Gaston is forecast to pass well south of Canadian forecast

Tropical depression 8 has formed west southwest of Bermuda. As of
3:00 PM ADT the depression is located near 31.5 degrees north
And 70.7 degrees west. Maximum sustained winds are 30 knots. Minimum
central pressure is about 1009 MB. It is currently moving west at 8

The depression is expected to become tropical storm Hermine sometime
Monday. At this point in time it's too soon to determine what, if
any, impacts it will have on Canadian waters.
