Issued 10:00 AM ADT 5 May 2016 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today trough located on a line east-west over
the southern Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from Georges Bank to
Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 995 mb located southwest of Georges
Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Friday low 1003 mb located over Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:45 AM ADT 5 May 2016 A low pressure system is expected to form southwest of the marine
district later today then track slowly northeastward to lie over Nova
Scotia Friday afternoon. Strong southerly winds will develop ahead of
this system and are expected to reach gale force over southern waters
tonight before gradually easing on Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank..West Scotian Slope..And East Scotian Slope.
