Issued 8:00 PM NDT 24 April 2024 Tonight and Thursday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 1002 mb located over Laurentian Fan.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday low 997 mb located over southern
Labrador Sea.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT Thursday low 1000 mb located over Anticosti
Island.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Thursday dissipating low 1004 mb located over
the Strait of Belle Isle.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:49 PM NDT 24 April 2024 A low pressure system over Laurentian Fan will track northeastward
To lie over Southern Labrador Sea by Thursday afternoon. Strong to
gale force southerlies can be expected over eastern waters as the low
tracks northward.

A second low will develop over Anticosti Island Thursday morning and
track through the gulf before merging with the first low Thursday
evening. Strong to gale force southwesterlies will develop over Gulf
waters Thursday morning.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Southwest Coast, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and
Southeastern Grand Banks.
