Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:49 PM NDT 24 April 2024 A low pressure system over Laurentian Fan will track northeastwardTo lie over Southern Labrador Sea by Thursday afternoon. Strong to
gale force southerlies can be expected over eastern waters as the low
tracks northward.
A second low will develop over Anticosti Island Thursday morning and
track through the gulf before merging with the first low Thursday
evening. Strong to gale force southwesterlies will develop over Gulf
waters Thursday morning.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Southwest Coast, Northeast Coast, Belle Isle Bank, and
Southeastern Grand Banks.
