By 10:00 a.m. AST today low 976 mb located north of the Avalon

At 3:30 p.m. AST today quasi-stationary trough located over the
central Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:47 AM AST 10 February 2016 A deepening low pressure system over Banquereau will move rapidly
northeastward to lie north of the Avalon Peninsula this morning.
Gale to storm force winds near the low will diminish as the low pulls

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau-southeastern half and Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in
effect for Banquereau-northwestern half and Anticosti southeastern
half. A freezing spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.
