Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:57 AM ADT 18 October 2017 A trough of low pressure will gradually move across the district
today. Strong southwesterlies ahead of the trough shift to strong
northwesterlies behind it. Over northernmost waters the
northwesterlies are now expected to reach gale force later this
afternoon before diminishing overnight.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait, the northeastern half of Gulf-Magdalen, and Anticosti.
