Banquereau.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located south of the Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight trough located from Anticosti Island
to Maine.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Tuesday trough located from Labrador Coast to
Laurentian Fan.

At 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over the western Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:36 PM AST 16 January 2017 A trough of low pressure approaching from the northwest today will
cross the district tonight and Tuesday morning. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen,
and Anticosti-eastern half. Freezing spray warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait and all Gulf
of St Lawrence waters.
